17:18. ಆದರೆ ಯೋನಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹೀಮಾಚರನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಾಲಕನು ನೋಡಿದನು. ಆ ಬಾಲಕನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಓಡಿದನು. ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಬಹುರೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಾವಿಯಿತ್ತು. ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು ಈ ಬಾವಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದರು.

17:18. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಹುರೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಅಂಗಳ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದರು.

17:18. But a young man saw them on one occasion and informed Absalom. So the two of them quickly departed and went to the house of a man in Bahurim. There was a well in his courtyard, and they got down in it.
